Bassists Against Racists

“The ultimate measure of a person is not where one stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where one stands in times of challenge and controversy.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

We are deeply shocked by the terrible tragedy of George Floyd’s violent death on May 25, 2020 in Minnesota. This incident has not been the first and – unless we stand up and resist – it will not be the last.

We did not have to think long about moving our anti-racism campaign “Bassists against Racists” ahead, which was actually planned for another time, to not remain silent, but to send a clear signal against racism and discrimination.

We as Flame2Fame have always stood for diversity and a peaceful coexistence of all cultures, religions, skin colors and beliefs. Instead of continuing to accept the division of our society, we should approach one another, be considerate, help each other and shake hands.

Profits from our “Bassist against Racists” campaign go to the “Foundation Against Racism”. The foundation has been actively involved in the issue of racism for several years and has been coordinating the International Weeks Against Racism since 2016.

We would like to thank Mr. Hans Peter Wilfer, CEO of Framus Warwick, to kindly grant us the license to use the claims “Bassists against Racists” and “Guitarists against Racists” for our current product line.
